The Ballymaloe Shop is located at Ballymaloe House. here you will find a range of Irish designer crafts, wool blankets and scarves, cook books, kitchen accessories, bakeware, kitchen and dining textiles, pottery, pots, saucepans, knives, food and lots more.

The internationally renowned Ballymaloe Cookery School, run by Darina Allen, is located two miles from Ballymaloe House. There are many cookery courses and demonstrations on throughout the year.
In the 1930's Ivan Allen started growing tomatoes on Ballymaloe farm. However he found that when he tried to sell them at the local markets, people didn't know what they were!
