Maintenance Manager
We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of Ballymaloe House Hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical knowledge, practical skills in a variety of trades, and a hands-on approach.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and carrying out repairs, maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and regulations
- Managing external contractors and service providers when required
- Maintaining accurate maintenance logs, records and reports
- Working collaboratively with other departments to address maintenance needs promptly
- Monitoring and maintaining all equipment, systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar maintenance or facilities management role, along with strong technical knowledge across plumbing, electrical, mechanical and general building maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
- A solid understanding of health and safety regulations is required, and relevant qualifications or certifications in building services or maintenance would be advantageous.
The position of Maintenance Manager is a full-time role, and the successful candidate will be required to work a variety of 8.5 hour shifts and weekends. This role is based on-site at Ballymaloe House, Shanagarry, Co. Cork.
