Dining
Breakfast is served daily, from 08:00 to 10:30, where residents can enjoy a wholesome buffet and hot cooked options on the menu.
A light lunch is served in the conservatory, Monday to Saturday between 12:30 and 14:00. On Sundays, we serve a 3-course set lunch menu from 12:30 to 14:00 (the last table booking is at 13:30), which is priced at €70per adult, children (3-15) at €35 and over 16’s at full price.
The 5-course, seasonal farm-to-table dinner menu, concluding with our signature dessert trolley, is served in all dining rooms, including the historical Yeats Room, Monday to Saturday, 18:30 to 21:00 for €110 per adult. Teenagers (13–17) are €80, while Children (6–12) are €60. On Sundays, a 4-course dinner menu is served from 18:30 to 21:00, priced at €90 per adult, teenagers (13–17) €70 and children (6–12) €50.

No, we do not have an official dress code, although feel free to dress up.
In the dining rooms, we accommodate children of the hotel residents who are under 12 years of age until 20:00.
Accommodation
Check-in is at 15:00, while check-out is at midday on the day of your departure. If you would like to enquire about early check-in or late check-out, please contact +353 21 465 2531.
Our cancellation policy is 7 days before the arrival date. Cancellations or modifications must be made 7 days before arrival to avoid charges. For no-shows or cancellations within 7 days of the scheduled arrival date, a charge equivalent to the first night’s accommodation will be taken from the card provided at the booking stage.

All bedrooms include bathrobes and slippers, are en-suite and include thermostatic temperature controls, high-speed Wi-Fi and speakers you can connect to via Bluetooth.
No, we invite you to enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside and the amazing sounds of nature that will surround you. Though we do turn on the TV in our Garden Room, upon request.
No, instead, we serve a slice of seasonal cake with freshly brewed tea or coffee to all our guests upon arrival. Many of our guests choose to enjoy it beside a fire in the Drawing Room.

We have a variety of guest activities and guided tours for our guests to experience, as well as various walking trails on our 300 acres of grounds.
Yes, we have an outdoor swimming pool which is open once the weather gets warmer, normally from May to September. Although it is heated, it is only open through the summer season. For the rest of the year, we give the space to aquatic wildlife, and in the springtime, it becomes home to hundreds of tadpoles.
Only registered service dogs are allowed at Ballymaloe House Hotel.

Yes, Ballymaloe Cookery School and Gardens are located 4km from Ballymaloe House Hotel. Our guests can get free entry if you ask the reception team to arrange a token for your complimentary visit.
Of course, Ballymaloe Shop and Café is open seven days per week, from 09:00 to 18:00 and offers a wide selection of Irish-made gifts, crafts, knitwear and kitchenware. The café at the rear of the gift shop serves homemade cakes and beverages daily from 10:00 to 17:00.
