We are looking for a Receptionist
We are always on the lookout for talented people with the passion to work in one of the top hotels in Cork, and that includes someone to join our front office team.
The Responsibilities
To welcome and register guests and to provide friendly customer service.
- Responsible for check-ins and check-outs, and answering phones.
- Taking reservations and cancellations in line with the company policy.
- Managing daily arrivals and front office administration.
- Make confirmation calls for the dining room reservations.
- Dealing with billing, daily cash-up and voucher sales.
- Work with Guestline – Hotel Management System (training will be provided)
- To keep guest profiles updated on the PMS and ResDiary
- Ability to resolve guest issues effectively.
- Effectively communicate weekly occupancy and table bookings to all departments
- To manage dining room bookings via ResDiary and to keep profiles up to date.
- To be familiar with local attractions and activities available for the guests.
- To communicate all our services, activities, and daily tours to the guests.
The Role
The position of a receptionist is a full-time role, and the successful candidate will be required to work a variety of eight-and-a-half-hour shifts, a mixture of early and late shifts, and weekends. This role is based on-site at Ballymaloe House, Shanagarry, Co. Cork.
The Requirements
The successful candidate must have a professional, courteous manner and the ability to multitask are essential. Prior experience in customer service, front desk or guest relations is preferred.
The Renumeration
This role is a full-time, permanent position. Salary will be based on the experience. We offer on-site parking, meals on duty, a uniform, and more.
