Historic wine cellar is located deep in the rocky foundations of the castle at Ballymaloe House Hotel and holds an extensive selection of award-winning wines. Our wine list includes a wide variety of wines from the best wine regions, and we pride ourselves in sourcing organic, biodynamic and natural wines. The term natural wine, also referred to as artisan or low intervention wine, made in an organically farmed vineyard with indigenous yeast, minimal or no added sulfites, resulting in a wine with more purity, vibrancy, and vitality.
A weekly tour with Head Sommelier Samuel Chantoiseau, takes place on Thursday and Fridays at 4pm, a complimentary activity for the guests and a delightful experience for the wine enthusiasts.

Our festive cocktail list includes a variety of indulgent and celebratory drinks. Try Ballymaloe Nutcracker, a cocktail made with Frangelico, Disaronno, Crème de Cacao, and Milk or Ballymaloe Eggnog is a perfect dessert cocktail made with Spiced Rum.
Garden-to-Glass cocktails are on the menus all year and are a popular choice with our guests. The process begins by handpicking fresh herbs, fruits, and botanicals from the walled garden. The ingredients are then muddled, crushed, or infused to extract their essence to enhance the flavour of the cocktails we make.
