For your information: We currently taking bookings for accommodation from May 2021.
In the event that we are prevented to open by then due to COVID-19, we will not be charging any cancellation fee.

Lunch is served between 1 pm and 2 pm Thursday to Saturday and 12.30 pm to 3 pm on Sunday.
Lunch Monday to Saturday is a set menu of either three courses @ €45pp or two courses @ €38pp. Lunch on Sunday is a set menu of 3 courses @ €55pp.
We are open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday for an A La Carte dinner.
Dinner is served between 6.30 pm and 9.30 pm Monday to Sunday inclusive.

Yes, but they must stay with their parents and guardians at all times.
We can provide alternative options for children if requested but do not offer a separate children’s menu at mealtimes. We do organise a kids High-Tea menu daily at 5.30 pm for residents only.
Yes, we will happily cater for all dietary requirements. Please let us know on arrival if you have specific requirements.
No, we do not ask for a deposit but do request that you give us plenty of time if you need to cancel your table, please.
No, unfortunately, due to COVID restrictions we are unable to serve any buffets at Ballymaloe House for now. This includes our Friday evening Hors d’oeuvre buffet or Sunday family evening buffet.

Yes, Ballymaloe gift cards can be redeemed against accommodation, dining, tuition and in the Ballymaloe Grainstore and onsite gift and kitchen shops too – something for everyone!
No, our swimming pool is for residents only.
No, but we do have a reciprocal arrangement with the nearby Garryvoe Hotel Gym (less than 10 minutes by car) for our guests to use at a discounted fee, or Castlemartyr Hotel Spa (20 minutes by car).
Can we visit the Ballymaloe Cookery School gardens?
No. The Ballymaloe Cookery School is located 4 kilometres from Ballymaloe House.

Great coffee, tea and cake or a delicious café-style lunch. The menu is changed daily and everything is freshly made with an emphasis on serving delicious, organic, seasonal dishes with locally sourced ingredients where possible
Enjoy your Ballymaloe breakfast between 8 am – 10.30 am; Fresh local ingredients, poached fruits, cereals and order your choice of hot, freshly cooked breakfast options too.
Join us for lunch between 1pm – 2pm for our à la carte seasonal Farm to Fork menu and conclude your meal with our award winning dessert trolley - a little of everything encouraged!
