Sunday Lunch at Ballymaloe House has changed from a buffet style of service to a three-course menu.
As always, our philosophy is to serve the best of what local producers have to offer and our Sunday lunch menu changes weekly according to what is available.
Starters range from light salads made with produce from the garden to more hearty soups, seafood dishes and terrines. A choice of five main courses include dishes such as slow roast shoulder of Ballymaloe pork to pan fried fish caught locally in Ballycotton bay. The dessert trolley comes laden with a variety of sweets which include homemade ice-cream, seasonal tarts, meringue roulade and more, try a little taste of each if you wish. To finish tea and coffee is served with Ballymaloe fudge.
Children are more than welcome and we are happy to serve smaller portions with sauces on the side if you wish.
For larger groups who are celebrating a birthday, anniversary, communion etc. we can arrange a private dining room depending on availability.
Our new Sunday lunch at our restaurant in East Cork has been running for three weeks and the feedback from our guests has been fantastic. Our menu changes every week depending on what is in the garden and in season.
