Ballymaloe House Hotel is situated in East Cork. The restaurant has been open for 59 years and over this time it has built for itself a reliable reputation with a steady stream of regular guests both coming to the restaurant and staying in our accommodation.

Main Duties Front of House
To work closely with Reception and carry out any request that they may have in relation to customer needs.
To ensure all departmental S.O. P’s, Hotel Policies and Procedures are adhered to.
Welcome guests and carry their luggage / Answer queries, give local advice on days out, give directions.
Run errands for Front of House team / Take messages / Move furniture or equipment to set up rooms for events.
Respond to safety and security issues / Support the waiting staff.
Keep the reception area, front of house terrace and common rooms clean and tidy.
To provide room service to Guests in accordance with Hotel Policies.
To clean and ensure the lobby and surround areas where Guest are, are left clean and tidy.
To maintain open communication line with Staff & Guests
To be environmentally friendly and cost aware.
To carry out additional duties as requested by the manager.
Flexibility is essential for this role, weekends and evening shifts involved.
Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential information.
Be aware of all first aid & fire procedures. Be familiar with firefighting equipment.
