It’s been a busy week here @ballymaloe_house since we welcomed the fabulous Niels Verburg of @luddite_wines last Friday for a wonderful #ballymaloewineexploreresclub paired wine tasting dinner 🍷
Here’s a taster for you this #winewednesday🍷 lunchtime…
We started with a palate refreshing Charentais Melon Sorbet followed by a generous helping from the Ballymaloe Hors d’Oeuvres buffet (seen here) with a crisp Saboteur White 2020.
A tasting portion of Pan Seared Hake & Scallop, Bretonne Sauce & Sautéed Courgette with a clean refreshing Luddite Chenin 2020.
East Cork Rack of Lamb, Rosemary Membrillo Aioli & Sweetheart Cabbage and an Irish cheese selection perfectly complimented a Saboteur Red 2019 and the bold juicy Luddite Shiraz 2016. On top of all this, the delicious #ballymaloedesserttrolley rolled in.
