An Capall An exhibition of paintings by Sara Hodson
‘A horse is the projection of peoples’ dreams about themselves – strong, powerful beautiful- and it has the capability of giving us escape from our mundane existence’ Pam Brown - poet.
A unique exhibition of paintings celebrating the Irish horse by artist Sara Hodson will be held at the Grainstore. Paintings of horse fairs, shows and horse racing will be on display including an oil painting of legendary jockey AP McCoy. This painting has been donated by the artist to raise funds for The Irish Injured Jockeys Fund.
Sara Hodson is an associate member of the Society of Equestrian Artists and exhibits regularly in London. This is a wonderful opportunity to see her work. The Private View will take place at the Grainstore on Friday 28th March at 7pm where there will be a guest speaker and final bids for the painting of AP McCoy. The exhibition will continue until 12th April.
