Situated on a 400-acre farm in the gentle hills of East Cork, near the southern coast of Ireland, Ballymaloe is a country house hotel which has been run by the Allen family since 1964. We have a number of vacation packages specifically tailored to visitors from the United States, but remember that these are only ideas; you can always just come here for a relaxing break if that's what you want!

The first is our Foodie Package, which includes learning how to make Irish soda bread in the Ballymaloe House kitchens.

The second is our Cultural Package, which includes entry to a concert by well-known Irish folk band, The Fureys.

The final package includes a 2½-day cookery course at the Ballymaloe Cookery School with Rachel Allen, famous for her TV cookery programs and cookery books.
