Concert by Irish Folk Band, The Fureys – Sunday April 7, 2013

Rory Allen is a keen musician and has recently converted an 18th-century farm building on the grounds of Ballymaloe into a multi-purpose venue where concerts are frequently held. This spring, we are delighted to have the Fureys come and play here.

The legendary, Dublin-based Furey brothers first formed a band in 1978. Musical talent coupled with their rustic charm and great sense of humor make for highly entertaining shows. Their best-known songs include "When You Were Sweet Sixteen", "The Green Fields of France", and "Steal Away".
