One such artist is Michel Mouroz, a self taught Medieval Blacksmith. In real life (as he put it himself) Michel is an 'Art & Design' and a French secondary school teacher and practicing artist. His interest is mostly with the end of the Viking era, the beginning of the Norman era to the end of the 100 years’ war. 10th/11th century to mid-15th century. Most of the implements and weapons he crafts are made from recycled tool steel. Michel will be located outside the Big Shed all weekend demonstrating and selling his art and it is quite a spectacle to witness.
