Dine in the Dark at Ballymaloe House and shine a light on blindness.

Ballymaloe House are delighted to have registered to host a small dinner party table during this National Council of the Blind of Ireland (NCBI) national fundraising and awareness national initiative.  For a week in November 2017, restaurants across Ireland are challenging their guests to dine in the dark to raise awareness and vital funds for life changing sight loss services in Ireland. This immersive experience allows people to challenge their thinking around sight loss and the people affected by it.  Our event is being held at Ballymaloe House on Friday 10 November (one dining room only - the whole Ballymaloe House restaurant will not be dining in the dark!).

€10 from every meal will be donated to the National Council of the Blind of Ireland (NCBI) to provide life-changing services to blind and visoin-impaired people across the county.

Everyday at NCBI centres, they provide practical and emotional support, rehabilitation services and hands-on training to help people who are blind or vision impaired to live independently and confidently.

To join this Dine in the Dark experience at Ballymaloe House (and enjoy your starter from our delicious Ballymaloe Friday buffet blindfolded), please call reception on 021 465 2531 to book (limited availability).
