Ted and Ivan from Wildside catering take centre stage. Watch as they prepare your 7 course set menu feast right before your very eyes, from the centre of a circumference of the Big Shed recycled timber tables, in this spectacularly rustic and increasingly versatile venue on the Ballymaloe Farm.
Their infamous witty and entertaining style promises an evening of high-energy fun and excellent food.

Next year’s festival follows the outstanding success of Ballymaloe LitFest 2013 which attracted over 40 renowned food writers, chefs and wine specialists and over 8,000 food enthusiasts to Ballymaloe Cookery School and Ballymaloe House in East Cork last May. This three-day celebration of food trends and food writing was applauded across the world for the rich content delivered by an array of high-profile guest presenters.

Congratulations from everyone at Ballymaloe House to Darina Allen on receiving an Outstanding Achievement Award from Cork Chamber in association with EY on Tuesday 18th November at a prestigious awards event at The DoubleTree Hilton, Dublin acknowledging and celebrating her commitment to promoting Irish food.
Gillian Keating, president of Cork Chamber, said that Darina Allen in her capacity as owner of Ballymaloe Cookery School had put Irish food on the world stage.
The 2014 Web Summit in Dublin concluded with a dinner at Ballymaloe Grainstore and Ballymaloe House for the F.ounders Group, an assembly of 280 international technology leaders, on Friday 7 November.
The evening was designed to encourage the flow of conversation and ideas. It began with a reception in Ballymaloe Grainstore where canapes served included Irish Native Oysters, Black sole Sushi, Chinese Duck Soup, Parsnip & Beetroot Crisps, Crab Wontons and Pork Yuk Sung washed down with Cremant d'Alsace.

After a wonderfully busy summer at Ballymaloe House some of the front of house staff was treated to a day out! The weather was on our side so we headed off to experience East Cork's newest attraction- a guided tour of the Ballycotton Lighthouse Island.
