Jameson Whiskey Supperclub

In support of Taste Cork Week  we are hosting an exclusive whiskey tasting Supperclub on Thursday 19th October (max. 15) with special guest David McCabe, Production Technologist with Midleton Distillery's Master Blender Billy Leighton. 

Fine Midleton whiskey will be paired with every course of a delicious especially prepared menu and David will dine with you to host this very rare and informative Ballymaloe dining experience.

New Year's Eve at Ballymaloe House

Join us at Ballymaloe House to celebrate the passing of 2017 and welcome 2018 over an evening of Jazz and delicious food with good friends. 

New Year's eve at Ballymaloe House is a very special occassion in the relaxed atmosphere of home from home.  This year you will be welcomed with live Jazz music from 7pm. 

Enjoy a pre-dinner drink in the Drawing room or conservatory whilst perusing a special 5 course celebrational menu and take to the dance floor in the conservatory with DJ Rockin Gerry until late.

Join Philippe Guigal for a special evening and enjoy dinner with him at Ballymaloe House and his personally chosen selection of 10 of his finest wines from the Rhone Valley.

Ducky Punch Yoga Retreat

Although now living in sunny Los Angeles, Ducky hails from neighbouring Glanmire and returns to Ireland frequently to host highly sought after Yoga retreats. This October we are delighted Ducky will be here at Ballymaloe House for the first time hosting a two night retreat with us.

Californian Wine Tasting & Thanksgiving Supper

Enjoy a very Happy Thanksgiving at Ballymaloe House on Thursday 23rd November in co-operation with Wines of California. 

California Wines will be hosting a tasting and talk where you will be sampling a selection of Californian wines chosen to reflect the diversity of this wine region. 

The tasting will be followed by a family style Thanksgiving dinner (including Californian wine) in the Long Room at Ballymaloe House.

As part of the newly branded Midleton Food & Drink Festival - FEAST (3-10 September 2017), Ballymaloe House are delighted to be one of the restaurants chosen to host this Seasonal Supper on Thursday 7th September as part of the Feast Festival celebrations.

COURSE: Growing & Arranging Roses at Ballymaloe House

Thursday 22nd June - Using predominantly wild and garden flowers from the grounds of Ballymaloe House. Our in-house florist will demonstrate her own style of flower arranging used at Ballymaloe House to create seasonal displays. 

This one-day course offers an opportunity to explore the gardens and see how we use our favourite roses from our gardens to create in house floral displays.

Coffee on arrival at 9.30am and the course ends at approx. 5pm and includes a light lunch in Ballymaloe House.

Price: Course: €105 = Full day course & lunch

Tasting and Thanksgiving Dinner

Ballymaloe House in co-operation with Wines of California is hosting a tasting of California wines, followed by Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday 24 th November, in the company of Tomás Clancy Wine correspondent for the Sunday Business Post.

The tasting will commence at 7 pm with a selection of 6 wines, Chosen to reflect the diversity of California wines.

A specially prepared Thanksgiving dinner will follow.
